All orders are dispatched in rigid carboard book mailers. Some thinner books are sent in padded bags. This only applies to UK orders, all overseas orders go in book mailers.
We always try to dispatch an order on the same day it is received, however local postal collections are now as early as 3pm so we recommend for any hope of a next day delivery, you order before noon and select 1st class.

We typically dispatch books on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday morning.
You may find if ordering a large number of books from a non-UK country that you are unable to complete checkout as there is no shipping option available for you. This is because we would send a heavy order via courier rather than use a domestic service. Prices for these services fluctuate so please email us on email@example.com and we will source a number of quotes/services for your order and generate an invoice for you.
We have also added Collect+ as an additional UK delivery service. The pricing allows for a tracked 48hr service.
If a packet is returned to us undelivered we will not attempt a second delivery to that address. Do not stipulate 'leave in green bin' or 'leave with neighbour at 42'. These instructions will not be fulfilled. Royal Mail employees are required to deliver any package either through your letterbox or into your hands. If they can't do this, you will be carded and required to collect your packet from the local delivery office. Any 'deal' or understanding you have with your local postman is not something we have any influence over.
If you have provided an incorrect delivery address your order will not be refunded unless the package is returned to us by the unsuspecting recipient. A sale is a sale, it is down to the customer placing the order to ensure that their delivery information is correct.
If a packet is returned to us as 'not collected from depot' we will refund the order, deducting the cost of posting. This happens too frequently for us to deal with these orders on a case-by-case basis. If you didn't receive a card from your postman, please contact your local delivery office. We cannot help with complaints about local services.

WE DO NOT DELIVER TO BRAZIL OR MEXICO
While we used to deliver worldwide, we have had an incredibly high number of packets go missing in these territories or take 4-5 months to arrive even by Airmail.
If your country is not listed, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
If your country doesn't use postcodes, merely put 00000 in the postcode field, this will allow you to proceed through checkout.
